EP-4 [fn.ψ]
佐藤薫（EP-4）と家口成樹（PARA、kuruispunt他）によって2015年に結成されたエレクトロ・ノイズ・ユニット。ラップトップ・ガジェット、シンセサイザー、エフェクターなどが織りなす即興的音の立体空間は、ノイズでありアンビエントでもあるという対語的多面的要素を見事に融合した音のアマルガムを構成する。2018年2月にファースト・アルバム『OBLIQUES』を佐藤薫による新レーベル＝φonon（フォノン）よりリリース。
EP-4 [fn.ψ] is an electro noise duo formed by Kaoru Sato, the leading figure in a legendary cult band EP-4 whose only full-length from ‘83 Linga Franca-1 was recently reissued by WRWTFWW Records, and Shigeki Ieguti known for is involvement with bands such as PARA, Hanadensha and solo project kuruispunt, active from 2015. Both musicians originate in the avant-garde scene of Kyoto, and they construct heavy soundscapes which could be described as both noise and ambient using laptop gadgets, synthesizers and effectors in highly improvisational manner. Their first album OBLIQUES was released this February from Sato’s φonon imprint.
