ふちがみとふなと [FuchigamiToFunato]
渕上純子(ボーカル、小物)、船戸博史(コントラバス)の二人組。むずかしくない言葉とメロディとリズムを紡いで出来る大きな宇宙を探して四半世紀越。在住の京都を拠点に全国津々浦々、時々海外の、顔の見えるサイズの会場を中心に、スケールが大きいのか小さいのわからないスタンスで活動中。様々な音楽、演劇、演芸、美術等音楽のみならぬジャンルを越えた共演も多数。2017年、29年前に二人が旅人として出会ったケニア・ナイロビでライブを行い、2019年にも再びケニア公演の予定。
Fuchigamitogunato is a Kyoto-based duo project between a vocalist Junko Fuchigami and a contrabass player Hiroshi Funato. They have been attempting to create their own universe using simplistic words and melodies over a quarter of a century. They have been playing across Japan and occasionally abroad in intimate settings, and participated in numerous music, theatre and art projects. In 2017, they had a show in Nairobi, Kenya where the two have initially met as travelers. They are planning to return there in 2019.
