呉山夕子のエレクトロニックソロプロジェクト。
2015年から始動。大阪を拠点に活動している。
2002年から2015年まではwater faiという女子バンドに所属 ギターを担当する。
今はThe creams というバンドでギターを弾いている。
またシンセサイザーノイズユニット “Turtle Yama”も活動中。
KOPYでは2015年に自主でCDR’volume 1’をリリース。
2016年に自主でライブバージョンのCDR’Live at forest limitをリリース
2016年にドイツのデュッセルドルフにあるSalon des Amateurs やベルギーのアントワープなどでヨーロッパツアーを行う。
2018年9月にはKOPYでヨーロッパツアー、Meakusma festival でLena Willikens のショーケースに出演。
2019年 Stefan Schneider のレーベル TALからコンピレーション12インチのレコードをリリース予定。
KOPY is Osaka-based artist Yuko Kureyama’s solo project which took shape in 2015. Previously, between 2012 – 2015, she was a guitarist for an all female band called Water Fai. She continues to play a guitar part in another band called The Creams, as well as taking part in a synth/ noise outfit called Turtle Yama.
After she self-released her live recording Volume 1, KOPY was invited to play at Salon des Amateurs in Dusseldorf, Germany and toured Europe for the first time. This summer, she was invited by Lena Willikens as a part of her curated program at Meakusma Festival in Eupen, Belgium. She is participating in a compilation 12inch on Stefan Schneider’s TAL label due early 2019.
